I destitution to know hospitals covered by ALICO health insurance (UAE) in the united states ; exclusively in California , New York and New Jersey .

Why Is The Word "confidential" So Unnkown Among Medical Staff In The UAE?

By former and current experience I wonder if the word "confidential" is common among receptionists/medical team working in this field. Been through an ,,,,,, calling my colleque about my medical history, having an barney with an ,,,,, insurance employee about confidential information and being tired of receptionists in hospitals who be to see my medical records when I am asking for a certain department to go to.

Answer: very faithful!... I had the same problem when I was in the hospital the other patients found copies of my medical record laying around in the gibberish bin totally in plain view , without being shredded or any thing with my name on the papers . I asked the doctor and he said they have a confidentiality method and even gave me a brochure where they brag about their "confidentiality" of patients files but we found the files in the a crock bin where any one could abuse that information or make forged records off it. Don't believe any thing the oversight says in print because obviously the employees have no concept of it, and they think as long as it is not a violation they can do whatever

What's About Medical Privacy When Insured Through The Employer?

In Abu Dhabi it is compulsory for the employers to insure the whole family of employees. In the other Emirates mostly the employees are insured. It's proletarian to insure the employees/family members through a group insurance. The applications for the surety company are passed out at work, have to be filled out by the employees and returned to the company.
In these appositeness you are asked about your medical history and have to answer honestly. Isn't this a subject that should be handled

Answer: I really work for a software company that specializes in medical insurance and have worked with the biggest competitors to Alico, (they were affluent to be our next client until AIG screwed up and Alico put a freeze on everything).

In working in the UAE and other Middle East countries with big Medical Insurance companies, I can assure you that it is still not matured. It seems that at present Sr. Executives and Central Managers for Medical Insurance organizations in the Middle East region have understandable from Alico. The established culture at Alico is medical history is not considered confidential.

My colleagues and I were appalled at the want of confidentiality
