Answer: you also basic to install the keyboard selector (inter. language bar), and select the proper fonts. Then click just Alt-Shift, Otherwise you get other symbols. Ctrl-shift only switches the direction not the language.
didn't your computer arise with any OEM CDs , like if it is a Dell computer (for example) you will have a Dell installation disk, just insertion that one, it should have the windows folders on it.
Otherwise you have to let Windows XP go online and authenticate your license number, then you can invest everything from the Win XP website.
You can also borrow the CD from someone because you will only need it when it installs the fonts and BiDirectional system,

Hey, nice to know people are winning interest in our dialects. As an Emirati (Dubaian) myself, I'll be more than happy to answer your question..
First of all, there is not much (unnoticeable few) contrariety dispute between Dubai and the rest of the Emirate's dialect, so we will just phrase it as the UAE dialect. Oh yeah, and the following is all mere slang UAE, like maybe other Arabs wont get you. Anyways, here we go:
Good Bye: Fimalla
Schoolgirl You: Eshtegtlik, or Lek Wehsha
See You Soon: Inshoofik Gereeb Inshallah

I don't get it, if Arabic is the documented language of the UAE then why isn't it taught in public schools as a first language. There is no official status of English so why do they guide it?
Answer: As a municipal, I can tell you that Arabic is taught in all public and private 'Arabic' schools and it's mandatory subject for all status levels. As far as 'ethnic' private schools go, it's not mandatory. English is also mandatory in all schools as well. It acclimated to to start from 4th grade onwards but has been mandatory for all grade levels for a long all together now.
Seeing how the UAE has a wide range of nationalities living in it and the status of the English lingo in the world today, it would be unwise to leave it out of schools today.
