We are staying at the Burj Al Arab in Dubai for 4 nights and 5 days in September. Im wondering though, if the close is safe? It's in the middle east of course, and it's across the way from Iran. Im a little worried of terroism or suicide bombers. Does anyone certain how good security is, and is the UAE a targeted area of the middle east?
Answer: It is very secured. If it wasn't safe Dubai wouldn't be one of the quickest developing and most admired resorts in the on cloud nine and they wouldn't have built a hotel like the Burj Al-Arab there. You'll be fine, just stick to the sightseer areas.
As for the political and terrorist situation, nowhere on the planet is immune from terrorism. I wouldn't be vexed about Iran, nothing is happening with Iran for ages.
