Why Does It Cost More To Renew A Philippine Passport Abroad Than It Does In Manila? |
The charge to get a new passport or to renew one in the Philippine Embassies abroad differ A LOT than if one would do it at the DFA Passport Center.

Granting the OFW will requisite to save by hoping to renew
| Answer: Shapely point sir! I'd like to think it's the overhead cost (in business terms) that makes the contrariety dispute. For instance, you're not paying employees in the US at the same rate as those in P.I. It could be that, partially, the labor cost being paid for the diplomats and the wand, and the other expenses incurred by the consulate or embassy might be charged to those who avail services. But then, when I saw that the highest pace is in China, well, I don't know what to think. Why will it take 3 months to renew? It took me only 3 weeks to resuscitate mine. I'm not an OFW though. If it's taking OFW's longer, that's not really a good way of appreciating people we call our 'bagong |
