Do You Have To Post A Picture On Your Cv In The UAE/Middle East?

I am not wholly sure about the format of Middle Eastern/UAE cvs or resumes. If I do, how would it have to look like (smile, no beam, cloths style, etc.)?

Answer: Putting a photo with your CV is not a proviso but it is common practice, when I first started looking for a job many companies specifically asked that a just out photo be included. If a photo is requested make sure it is both recent and adept.

I Am A Permanent Resident Of Australia But Reside In UAE?

I support a PR visa of australia but reside in UAE. I am looking out for a opening in sydney/melbourne but I was advised by my friends that companies will not reflect on the CV from people who are not physically present in Australia. How far is this true? Can I try to directly post my cv to companies as a substitute for of recruitment agencies in australia? I am will to resign from my current job in the event I am selected in Australia.

Answer: I postulate it depends on the type of work you do but I can't see how it can be a problem when you consider how much communication is done these days via the internet and emails. Most outstanding companies usually have a career or employment section on their websites so I would suggest that you employ online or send your cv by mail. If any company is really interested than they will tell you that they lust after to see you in person. Actually why not make the first contact via their web page or email and suggest that you will email or appoint your cv. Again if they are interested they will get back to you. If they don't get back to you post your cv anyway what have you got to lose, a few pieces
