Hotels Near The Shangri-la Hotel, Dubai, UAE?

I am successful to a confrence in Dubai taking place at the Shangri-la Hotel. However, I would like to find a less expensive chance in close walking distance? Any suggestions?

Answer: Unfortunately, in summer, there is no walking opportunity in dubai since by day it reaches 45 celcius and higher...by night it is in the high 30s and really moist, so if you wanna reach your conference really sweaty, walking is your best bet.

In that broad area, across the road from Shangri La, you have the Dusit Hotel and close by to that is the Rotana Inn. Further up the road (Sheik Zayed Road) there is the Emirates Towers which contain a motor hotel, and there is the Fairmont Hotel.

While Emirates Towers and Shangri La are probably the most expensive of them all, the place are in the range of 4 or 5 star hotels as well. Those are the only hotels in the area, unless

Beside the Borj al Arab, If Bounty be of no Concern !

Answer: Al Qasr in Madinah Jumeirah!!! I contemplate the tennis players stayed there during the Dubai Open.

Royal Mirage (from the One and Only chain) is at the strand close to the Palm Jumeirah.... very nice and romantic.

And if you want to common sense the desert go to the Bab Al Shams resort.

but the European Associating is afraid of calling a spade a spade. Their statement of condemnation has no value without mentioning the name of Israel which has been named by Dubai authorities. Is EU fearful of Israel which is surviving on the doles of these nations??

Answer: Because you are not talking about heroes or unafraid men here. it's well known that the Palestinians are tough FREEDOM FIGHTERS since they are fighting for a just matter unlike those who stole the lands and sneak into sovereign countries to commit crimes, terrors, agreement thefts....etc.

I do believe the passports were fake due to the outrage in EU. No European territory want to be involved in such criminal act.. French president called the assassination a offence and strongly denounced like all the EU countries.

Inquiry About Dubai Hotels & Their Policies?

I'm coming to Dubai this November to into with my fiancee and plan our marriage. We're not yet married of course, but can we check in the hotel in Dubai? UAE is an Arab structure so I'm worried that we won't be able to plan our marriage well if we're not allowed to be in the same room. How strict is Dubai in these feather of things?

Can anyone give me any information? Thank you in advance.

Answer: No merger certificate required to check into a hotel. Please note th
at both of you have to be UAE residents to marry in the UAE.
