I stay in the UAE (Dubai) and really like the 2009 Hyundai Santa Fe and am considering buying it. While everything is effective for this car, I am not sure about the resale value of this car because I keep receiving conflicting information on this topic. One qualified tells me that the car loses 70% of its value after 3 years, while another exper tells me the resale value, while not as documentation as Japanese cars, is better than American cars and will not drop more than 50%
| Answer: I can not say for the UAE but here in the USA a Hyundai is only starting to income ground on JAP and USA car manufactures. They still have a poor reputation here in the US and would be my last choice along with a KIA out of any option I have here in the US. I would say the person saying they bear up value like the JAP brands is the person trying to sell you the SUV. They have no resale value here in the US. I would go with a Chevy Tahoe, I adulation the new Tahoe a lot. |
