I Wanna Know About The Jobs In Oil Sector In Alberta.I Am Currently Working As A Planning Engineer In UAE.?

I have done B.E. in Secular Engineering from Thapar University,Patiala (Punjab) in the year 2006.

Currently I am working with a MNC in Habshan, UAE for the EPC of conduit projects OGD III & AGD II as a Planning Engineer.

I might be shifting to Canada in April-May, 2008.

Please advise me where to look for the jobs.
I searched a lot of job portals but not to much use.
Should I go for any higher course of study in the oil & petroleum

Changing Jobs In Dubai..From UAE Visa To Free Zone?

Im employed with a reclusive oil company with an unlimited contract and a UAE visa.Not sure what the classification of the visa is, however my companionship does not refer to the Ministry of Labour and visas are done directly with the Immigration.
I now privation to move to a Free Zone company, should i anticipate any problems from my old employer?
Any issues with the mechanical 6 months ban?
Can my company enforce a work ban of any duration?
If my old employer cancels

Answer: Employees/workers of oil companies are exempted from receiving a ban. By working under an endless contract you can change any time (after one year) and join another company by giving a 30 days note (or what ever is stated in your corrugate.
Btw. even IF you would receive a ban (what you don't), you still can take employment at any Free Zone because also Free Zones don't fall under the Labor Law.

Have your contemporary visa cancelled and apply a new one.
