Is It Possible To Travel Between UAE And Oman On A UAE Drivers Licence?

Hi I am a European native but my passport is in the process of getting a visa for another country. I am due to go to Oman at the weekend by car. I have a photocopy of my passport and also a UAE drivers authorization. Would this be ok?

Answer: As an UAE regional you are allowed to drive a car with an UAE driver's license - but to enter Oman you of course need your nonconformist passport and not just a copy.

Can I Visit UAE And Oman With Israeli Stamp In My Passport?

I am flying to Abu Dhabi from Israel. Will I have question entering UAE and Oman? Please, any advice would be very appreciated. Thank you.

In case you are able to be customary a visa on arrival when entering Israel, get a separate visa form which you at along with your passport instead getting your passport stamped. If you have to obtain a visa whilom before arrival, this isn't possible.

Please check on your flight again. You may board to Abu Dhabi from Jordan or Egypt.

Can I Spend UAE Dirhams In Bahrain And Oman?

I am succeeding on holiday and will be travelling to United Arab Emirates and then will continue to Bahrain and Oman. The currencies are contrastive but I was wondering because they were so close if shops in Bahrain and Oman accept UAE Dirham?

Thank you

Answer: No, The banks are supported by governments and no one will assent to foreign currency.

It used to be a nightmare going on a Mediterranean cruise before the Euro kicked in having to buy Pesetas, Lira, Francs and Drachma at every mooring. Every time you exchanged enough to buy a coffee in port the ships charged £2. Then had the audacity to allege another £2 to exchange back your change.

This money changing is the biggest con there is and literally thousands of division de change points ceased to exist when the Euro came in.

I suggest that you switch the least you can and buy what ever you can with what you have left and tip the poor cleaner with any

Can You Work In Oman After Leaving The UAE Without Paying Your Loans And Cancelling Your Visa?

A escort of mine left the UAE a year and a half ago without paying his loans and cancelling his visa, his assemblage had already made him redundant due to recession. If he goes to work in Oman can he get arrested for the UAE loans etc?

Answer: GCC rules betoken that residency in one country should be cancelled to get RP (Resident Permit) in another GCC country. As a period of 18 months has already been expired, the visa expired automatically; however, the records in the UAE Immigration does not show as cancelled. The best bib bet is land in Oman after obtaining a visa.

With regard to the unpaid loan in UAE, it has no implication on business to work in Oman. However, a case may come up through some Agency because it is a bad mark on your status.
