Is there any approval / license needed to produce & sell power. If, yes how to procure the same.

I'm currently working in Dubai and i be to open my own company, I contacted RAK free zone and they gave me a good step but in the requirement letter they asked me to provide NOC because I'm working in a company in Dubai currently , so how I can explicate this problem ?
if there is no solution then people who is working in a companies in UAE cant open their own businesses?
Answer: Please course your present employer for the NOC. If you have served him well during this period and if your relationship with him is good, he will definitely give you a NOC. Who does not stand in want his employee to prosper?
NOC is being asked because your should not be encashing on your experience and knowledge gained during use with Dubai employer to the detriment of his interests. That is all.

Answer: RAK is thoroughly a remote city in UAE as you seem to have noticed. Apart from the trips mentioned above, you might consider doing offroad around the mother country, go to see Musandam and other parts of Oman.
It is not easy to socialise in RAK other than with your colleagues if you are a western expat. Dialect mayhap gulf?? Otherwise you might need to find new friends in Dubai or Sharjah which is easier than up north.
