Can A UAE Tourist Visa Be Extended For 60 More Days?

My nourish is already in Dubai and needs to stay longer than 30 days. She needs 60 more days, is this allowed? If not, what other options are convenient for the extension without having to leave Dubai?
By the way, my husband who is currently employed sponsored her. I was wondering if he could assign from the Dubai Immigration and Naturalization office for a new 90-day visa.

Answer: A tourist visa valid for 30 days can not be extended. The attack visa however is extendable to up to 90 days. See detailes copied from the link provided as originator.

How Can I Get A Tourist Visa To UAE From Pakistan?

Without a radio? I don't have anybody to sponsor me but I need to go to UAE for a about a month with three other family members. I live in Karachi, and I thirst for to know if there are any airlines that can arrange visa except Etihad Airways, or any travel agencies who can do that, and how much the tour agencies will charge as commission or fees for visa.
Um, I want to go to UAE, not Pakistan....I am from Pakistan!
Answer: Visitors whose halt in Pakistan exceeds 30 days must report to the nearest Foreigners Registration Patronage for registration.
Travellers are currently advised against travel to Pakistan until further notice unless there are compelling reasons to do so. Take to the North West Frontier Province, Baluchistan and the Northern Areas are markedly ill advised.
Restricted entry and transit: The Government of Pakistan refuses access to nationals of Israel, even for transit. Nationals of Afghanistan are refused entry if their passports or tickets show smoking gun of transit or boarding in India.

I am inspiring for work to UAE (dubai) and when I arrive I will be on a temporary visa. I would like to get my wife with me after three weeks but I am pusillanimous I am not going to get the residency visa by then. Any ideas as to how I can get a tourist visa for my wife without asking any citizen there.

Answer: Depending upon your wifes stock she can get a visit visa on landing (European, American, etc.).
If not you can approach a local journey agent who can get you a visit visa for Dhs.2000. It is valid for two months and can be renewed for a month paying Dhs.500.
Or, you can get a stop in visa from "Gulf Air". For that you need to get a ticket from them and make a refundable lay of Dhs.1000 and visa charges of Dhs.200.
Or you can approach your employer (sponsor) and request for a visit visa for your bride.

We reside in the UAE (Dubai), with american passports. Have flights and hotel booked for damascus in two weeks era. Syrian embassy official told me processing time for americans is minimum one month (couuld take longer), as relevance gores to foreign office in syria.
Should we cancel plans, or still apply ?
Answer: well, if they told you it could take a month, and you're planning on leaving in 2 weeks, that sounds like a hard. of course, Syria and the US are trying to play nice with each other lately. maybe that will profession in your favor. nice place though. I highly recommend going if you can.
