Hey peeps
im travling to the UAE i'm wondering if I carry out anything electronic such as a laptop, phone etc are UAE customs allowed to search through my personal electronic devices ?
Answer: Of movement customs is allowed to search personal electronic devices (the US customs does the same) but customs won't do that unless something is guess. It's not the norm. In general UAE customs is very relaxed especially with Westeners. Don't worrry.

Specifically the see of Abu Dhabi. My husband and I plan on going there if he gets a job in the UAE and since I'm American I'd like to conscious anything you could tell me about it, but mainly customs.
Answer: I contemplate you'd like Abu Dhabi. It's not as strict and...you kno, like Saudi Arabia. It's beautiful, brilliant, and with plenty of things to do. It's also pretty open to all kinds of people. You'll find people from all over the just ecstatic here (outnumbering the UAE nationals).
Of course there's the added bonus that your husband gets more pay than most thanks to being American :p
Traffic is good (as compared to the horror it is in Dubai), and its a very safe see too. Just don't walk the streets at 3 a.m. especially if you're a woman and alone, because I don't know what will happen then :p)

M'assuming theres a inevitable limit to the amount of baccy and alcohol you can bring into other countries
How much tobacco am I allowed to diminish when moving permanently abroad from the United Kingdom to Abu Dhabi?
Will it get confiscated since I'm below age limit in Abu Dhabi for smoking?
What if I don't act up it in my handluggage and put it in my suitcase, will that be alright?
The same goes for alcohol. Is there a limit to what you can bring

For two reasons, in UAE you are not allowed to bring tobacco or alcohol. Those are; 1) Muslim, 2) Children. If you are not belongs to these two categories, you will be allowed to give birth to the limited quantity of Tobacco and Alcohol (no matter, if you are moving here permanently or passing)
