That will be my income in Dubai in about a month once I move from the US. What can I do with this amount. Obviously I'm not expecting a life of a wealthy man, not even close. But, what can I definitely do with this money?

After going there you may remit amount in Indian rupees by prepossessing a D.D on India or transfer money giving your account number,name of Bank and superlative address of the Branch where you have opened account in India and the Bank in Gulf will do the intermission.

How much is 8000 (eight thousand) Dirham at Dubai, UAE with be considerate to lifestyle. Is it good for a fresher's engineering (construction) job. Can someone tell about monthly disbursement while leading a normal happy bachelor life like rent, scoff,entertainment (not child's education or wife's expenses :))What could be savings if result in a normal good life.Thanks.

Answer: You can disposed to in 8000 but it is quite low for an engineer.
Please be known that a taxi driver's salary is 3500.Whereas my partner's female office secretary gets 6000.You won't be able to save any.
