Is A UAE Driving Licence Valid To Drive In Oman While On A Visit / Business Visa?

I am a European expat living in the UAE and I am successful next month to Oman on a Business trip. Can a rent a car and drive it with a UAE licence? I am also holding a Universal licence but this one was issued in spain. Anyone knows?

Answer: Any GCC driving certify is valid in Oman and you dont need to get a International license. Even your international permit is valid. You can easily hire a car on either of your licenses

I had obtained my driving licence in Abu Dhabi two years back. Then I leftist the UAE and again arrived in Sharjah on a visit visa for a business. So can I get back my driving license? What is the exact moving?

Answer: Even though you had Abu Dhabi's driving licence you cannot use it in Sharjah. You will have to manifest for the driving test again to obtain driving licence in Sharjah. Same case was applied to me.

I Replaced My Uae Driving Licence In Bahrain.now I Am In Uae. I Need Old Uae Licence.how I Can Get?

I got UAE-sharjah driving licence year of 2001. I went Bahrain 2005, on that at the same time i replaced my UAE licence to BAHRAIN licence,In bahrain trafic cancel my UAE licence. NOW i am in UAE, I want to get back my old UAE driving licence. what is the procedure?

Answer: You can go to the Above departement in the Emirates you issued first, and ask them to re issue it to you, it will stay valid for 10 years, you can not use the Bahrini DL here, suspension this

i have uae driving licence and universal driving licence (one year Singapore), i m moving now Singapore.i want change Singapore licence.give me fit solution plz.

Answer: A new arrival above 18 years of age and holding a Work Pass/Dependent Pass/Trainee Pass may drive in Singapore with a valid class 3, 3A or 2B foreign licence, for a spell of not more than 12 months. A Singapore driving licence is required after 12 months. Those on short settle social visit may drive with their foreign licence for up to 12 months each time they into into Singapore . For licence not written in English language, an International Driving Permit or translation is required as explained below.

My fellow-creature's based in Muscat, and drives a Toyota Camry which is a company car with Oman licence cut registration. So kindly advise if it is possible for me to drive his car as per Omani rules and law

Answer: i remember its ok, you can drive the car as long as you have the right papers and documents, it is improtant that your license is not expired, you can do that and appoint sure that you follow the rules and regulations good or your brother can get it trouble if there is some security problem too
