How Can I Cancel A UAE Employment Visa Application While It Is In Processing? |
I am a sri lankan and game to go to UAE for a job. I had an offer from a company and verbaly accepted it. Now they have applied for employment visa for me and still it is processing. Now I poverty to cancel this because I got a better offer from another company. How can I do this?
| Answer: I be uncertain they will process a visa without a signed contract. maybe they just said that. They will not go to all that in dire straits with paper work unless they have a signed contract. Even if it was just a verbal reply from you, it is not enough to facilitate a make up for it legally binding. |

How To Cancel Uae Employment Visa? |
I got an employment visa for uae through my Eye dialect guv'nor. But now I don't want to join the company.
1) Is it required to cancel visa, since i have nt travelled to uae?
2 ) If yes, How to annul the visa?
3) If the company refuses to cancel, will there be any problem while applying for future uae jobs?
Please commend me on this regard.
| Answer: The "Notes" in the Entrance Permit Sheet is self explanatory. Note No.1 States that the Validity of Permit: 60 Days from stage of issue. (So the entry permit holder must enter the country within 60 days from the meeting of issue of permit) Note No.2 Duration of Stay: 30 Days from the boy of Entry. (The person will be legally allowed to stay here in the country for 30 days from the boy of entry). Means, the received employment entry permit will expire after 2 months automatically and doesn't stress to be cancelled. In within this period you will not be able to obtain any kind of visa to enter the UAE. |

I have received a text of the entry permit (Employment) to UAE. The date states as 05 / 02 / 2009. There is no information on how long this is valid or the deadline to co-sign UAE from the date of issue. Does anybody know any information on this please ?
| Answer: Employment Visa or Permit is issued by the Immigration Jurisdiction to a foreign national who wishes to work for a company in the UAE upon the approval of the Ministry of Employees and Social Affairs. It allows the holder to enter the UAE once for a period of 30 days and is valid for two months from the era of issue. When the employee has entered the country on the basis of the employment visa, the sponsoring throng will arrange to complete the formalities of stamping his residence. |

My owner applied for my employment visa using an old passport, i renewed my passport hence the passport reckon on the visa is different from my current passport, i still have possession of the old passport. Can I be allowed access to UAE (on employment visa) by presenting both old and new passport?
| Answer: The defence to your question is YES. All you have to do is attached (by stapling) the old passport where your visa is attached to your newly issued passport. This is very communal in the UAE for all the foreign workers specially for the Phillippinos who got a passport for 5 years validity only far apart from Indians who got 10 years passport validity.
