Makes unquestionably no sense to me? Why? Believe it or not, even China & UAE have heavy regulations and restrictions.

Answer: Your confusion should be reworded as: "Why do countries discourage economic freedom and investment?"
The US has regularly blocked Chinese companies from purchasing American ones by citing Nationwide Security Reasons, and hav egiving loans to domestic companies to protect them against foreign competiton. India has price-list rates that are amongst the highest in the world and it's the world's largest democracy.

Answer: It doesn't whole bad. It's actually pretty well-written. It just kind of sounds like something you'd conclude from in a dictionary or encyclopedia. It's proper and businesslike, which is good for applications and the like. Try keeping that formal, veteran tone while letting a little of your own style into it. Schools get hundreds of letters well-founded like that one. Putting more "you" into it will make yours stand out.

I recognize that in 2007, there is a $87,500 tax exculsion for (ie western employees). Is this true ? Is this manifest income or adjusted income?
Also, do americans have to pay capital gains tax earned abroad?
(ie. Say i invested my money in an IRA in UAE for the past 3 years and have earned 30% return on my investments and after the 3 years carry back back to the US. Do I have to pay any taxes? Can I transfer the money back into my US bank account?) Please advise?
