Does The 6 Month Job Ban In UAE Apply If One Is Joining A Govt Company? |
Hi I have been working in the uae with a pvt Pty for the past 9months. Now i have an offer from one of the govt co to join them. Will i still require NOC from my previous employer or the 6 months impulsive job ban for not completing a year not applicable in case the new employer is a govt co.
Pls help by replying
| Answer: The six months ban got nothing to do with for how extended you worked with your present company. If you are working under a limited contract you have to fulfill it first. In action you are working under an unlimited contract, you'll have to pay the so called: "non completing one year" fees which are Dhs 500 for every months missing on a year. If you surrender tomorrow giving your company a 1 month notice, you can join the new company 1st. of October and have to pay Dhs 500 each for November and December. Please be wise that you need to obtain a NOC regardless to avoid the 6 months ban. Ask for the NOC BEFORE you resign. All |
