Dubaians, Nowadays Is There Someone Who Is Living In Traditional Houses In The UAE? |
I have to move out some research and I need the opinion of someone who's resident there.
I know that there are loads of futuristic skyscrapers and up to the minute buildings but where do poor people live (if there are poor people!)?
who is living in established houses in the UAE especially in Bastakia and Shindagha? Are they all museums such as al-fahidi fort?
Thanks for your servants.
| Answer: I am a dweller and a citizen. There are poor Emiratis, and it kills me to see that. You might find a lot of poor Emiratis more in the northern Emirates. Yes, there are still many living in unwritten houses -we have one right next door- our neighbor. In Bastakia and Shindagha? No there are real people living there. They are finally not all museums! Hope I helped, interesting story. FYI, I did an advanced academic research on "Unexposed Holiday-maker Sites" in the UAE. It might interest you :) |

that if Saudi is present to house its population in a sustainable way, the country will have to embrace the vertical living privileged in neighbouring UAE.
