I will be stationed in Amsterdam for three weeks on a scheme. I am UAE resident with UAE driving license. If I get myself a UAE International Driving license - can I rent a car and drive in Holland ?

Stand in want to rent a 1 room apartment for 1 month , while im on tourist or visit visa ,,,, in preference to of booking a hotel
What is the procedure for that
time frame
and deposits etc

Can anyone describe me what sort of rental price would be be reasonable in the UAE for something with 2 or 3 bedrooms per month. I seem to be getting all sorts of dissimilar prices browsing on the internet. Obviously I don't want anything too awful, but I don't want to pay the world either! Thanks.
Answer: Well, this varies greatly. In Dubai, you could rent a 2 bedroom in Discovery Gardens for 120k per year or at the marina for 165k or Satwa for about 140k or Worldwide city for 80k. You could go to Sharjah where the rent is much less then the above, but your comute to work could take you well over an hour. Three bedrooms are much more and not all developments have them. Rental contracts are for one year and are paid in either 2 or 3 installments.
