I've become more interested in the Entrepenuer zest and I am curious what the biggest obstacles are for new businesses, particularly the small businesses. What types of things do you call for to start up? What kind of needs do new businesses have?

How Can I Find Out About New Businesses Before They Launch?

I poverty to start a doing technology consultations and purchasing for new businesses. Ultimately the goal is to servants new start ups get their IT up and running with as little trouble as possible, especially if their business doesn't unspecifically relate to to the technology field. My main snag if reaching out to these start ups with out spending assemblage amounts of funds on advertising. Is there a simpler way to reach this group of people?

New businesses must march an assumed name with their secretary of state. In most states, you can buy the list, and then mail to them. For the right products, this can be very fortunate.

Best Way To Let Small Businesses, My Potential Advertisers, Know About My New Magazine?

Negligible businesses will advertise in my new magazine. What is the best way to let them know about my new magazine and the opening sale pricings its having. I don't hankering to just send out flyers or brochures.

Theoretically, you'd approach likely businesses in person with a list of your rates/sizes of ads, the publication info (how many issues a year, etc)

It's a meagre labor intensive so if you have staff they can get involved here. Businesses are inundated with solicitation daily so if you dissipate the time and money to mail stuff it will likely go in the trash - just as we put it in trifles/recycle at home.



A mock up of what the magazine will look like, what type of delighted, etc, who will write the content and draw up the ad

Who will read it -- ie the demographics (businesses selling children's tackle won't be interested in Club News, say, and fishing stores might not want to advertise in a of children rearing mag

How your magazine is different from others out there

How your mag will be sold/distributed and to what areas geographically

Bear in intellect even the largest mags stop printing on an alarming basis and it's a good plan to have ads presold for a few issues to tide you over till it gets going.

What is a new technology that can lift businesses save money by reducing energy use? Specificaly in a company like Fidelity, AutoDesk, Margarittas Resturaunt or Quiet Air Clean Planet?

There are now so many devices at one's disposal for reducing energy use. Among others:
1) use CFLs or compact floursescent lamps instead of the bar or anfractuous flourescent lamps
2) install solar water heaters on the roofdeck and put in piping into your toilets and lavish rooms
3) install solar cells for electricity use, either partially or complete replacement together with battery banks. You will desideratum a separate, well-ventilated room for the batteries.
4) remove the curtains and put in outside the windows lifeless or hard plastic jalousies to shield the rooms from direct sunlight but confess enough sunlight to switch off the lights.
5) sectionalize the electric wiring for the lighting such that you can scourge off a portion of the lamps for the areas without people working.
6) instead of centralized airconditioning, put in window-strain or stand-alone air con units. Again for those areas without people working, you can switch off the individual air con units.
7) where workable, use ceiling electric fans instead of aircon units. Or, use the combination of the two - - - fans at the start of the aid hours. Later, when there are enough people in the room, switch on the aircons and switch off the fans.
