Which Idea Do You Think Would Work Better Or Any Other Similar Small Business Ideas?
Feb 04, 2009 by Minute Man | Posted in Small Business
Me and my associate have thought of two ideas, and can't fully decide between these two ideas for a small business. Either a car wash where we would find 10 to 15 cars a week to make a revelation, set it up so we would just come clean each of them each week for $50 - $75 for a full inside and outside detail or have a green mowing business. Any other similar ideas? We just want something for and hour or two a day on regular days and up to 6 hours on saturday.
Not unwavering if I mentioned it very clearly, it won't be a full time thing, just after work during the week and on saturdays.
The haler long term business option is the lawn service. The house never moves, and the bloke doesn't have to be home for you to perform the service (you can bill or collect later). Grass grows no import what, especially as you approach and get into the summer. Community deed restrictions require that the homeowner keep their lot cut.
The startup cost to initiate a lawn service is 1 lawnmower and trimmer. Continuing costs is fuel.
Costs for a car rise detailing service depends. Hose, cleaning supplies, sponges, rags, a buffer, wax.
If you can, start infuriating to do both. Which ever you like or the one that takes off, you continue. There are pros and cons to both.
Any Good Business Ideas For A Small Town Along A Major Interstate?
Jan 01, 2009 by kelli_sr02 | Posted in Small Business
I'm in a small municipality of about 3000 right along I-35. Does anyone have any suggestions for good small business ideas. I've considered a small internet cafe? Suggestions entitled
First what is your peddle - this can not be the people who drive by on I-35. It has to be which people are the ones driving by and why would they want to break.
Second- What is the need you are filling. Is it really a need? Is there any way to test it before spending $$'s that could be irreclaimable? Is anyone else doing it in a similar type of location (Another small town) Interview that person or speculator yet several people in other small towns doing something like this or similar.
Third. What are your resources - to sustain you. Do you have an receipts while you are getting started. I started a business once and I had little cash to start but I was able to occupation it part time for 18 months while I worked full time. I was able to reinvest any earnings back into my business.
The internet cafe is an engrossing idea but the cafe or the food I think is what will draw people in.
Take a road freak out and see what other people are doing and tell people straight up what you want to do and ask lots of questions. People lady-love to help others.
I am excited for you and a little jealous - Owning my business was the funnest thing I have have ever done. If you have other questions you can email me. Skilled Luck!

My Uncle has infatuated a buy out from the company he was working for, and wants to take the money and open a business. What are some good small business / franchise ideas?
There are so many small businesses out there that he can look into. You'll get a lot of assorted ideas here on yahoo to look into. When I was looking for a small business, someone suggested this blog from yahoo on small businesses that you can run out of your home. Your Uncle would have the same profits opportunity as a traditional business, but without all the over head expenses. Most home based businesses are businesses within a business, fitting like if you were to buy into McDonalds, but they cost a fraction of the amount as going into business with McDonald's. Here's a blog that has over half a dozen strange industries to take a look at. I'm sure it will give you a lot of ideas to give to your Uncle as it gave me.
Good Luck to you!

What Are Some 'green' Job Or Small Business Ideas?
Dec 18, 2008 by Gone Riding HPTS | Posted in Other - Environment
What are some environmentally wilful jobs or small business ideas?
All ideas are welcome! Everything and anything is welcome
10 points!
One prime and timely environmentally friendly small business idea would be to resell or recycle the contents of all the houses currently in foreclosure. These are often liberal full of furniture and household belongings. One of the few small businesses that are booming right now is cleaning all of these houses out. Unfortunately, the contents are non-specifically taken directly to the dump. Any business that either arranged to take the contents of the houses or did the clean out business themselves would have a ample supply of free furniture and other household goods-- often in excellent condition. They should be flourishing even selling these things for a small fraction of their original value since their only costs would be hauling and storage.
It may seem sad to change a business off the loss of people's houses, but it is even sadder to have all of these perfectly good products accepted into landfills.
